What does the onboarding process look like?
Our Data Conversion Team will be in touch with you regarding your scheduled conversion time. When the time comes, they’ll inspect your data and offer tips for clean-up should there be any issues. Then, a proposal is sent your way to be given the green light as to how they will import and shape your data to fit into Kanso’ architecture. Once completed, a review is held to validate the data and configuration of your site - once confirmed, you’re off to the races!
We have successfully converted multiple clients within six business days! The speed of your conversion to Kanso depends on your team’s availability and communication with our Data Conversion team.
Can I use the system if my organization is not a Tribal, Public, or Homeless organization?
It all begins with an idea. Contact our team by emailing sales@kansosoftware.com to discuss product fit! We have successfully supported a few organizations that are not directly providing housing or housing assistance payments.
How does Kanso protect my organization’s data?
Security is central to everything we build at Kanso. Our platform and internal operations adhere to industry-recognized security and privacy standards, and Kanso Software is SOC 2 Type 1 compliant, verified by an independent third-party audit.
This means our systems, processes, and controls for data protection, access management, change control, and incident response have been formally evaluated and meet the requirements defined by the AICPA for the Security and Availability trust principles. We continuously monitor our infrastructure, apply regular security updates, and follow strict policies for encryption, authentication, and data handling to ensure that client and tenant information remains safe and confidential.
Does Kanso have mobile applications?
Kanso has two mobile apps for use on iPads - mobile inspections and mobile work orders. The portal applications are also designed to be flexible for use on mobile and tablet browsers as well.
How does the Multi-Family 50059 Integration with Shofcorp Work?
Kanso has been partnered with Shofcorp (www.shofcorp.com) for well over a decade with HDS and more recently Kanso, to provide stellar support for multifamily programs. Households and properties can be tracked in Kanso, and calculations and 50059 forms are generated by sending information to Shofcorp with the click of a button in Kanso. The main task needed to be performed directly on ShofCorp would be to run the voucher that bills subsidies to HUD for all tenants in the property each month. After customers run the monthly voucher, ShofCorp takes care of transmitting the required tenant and voucher data through the TRACS system to wherever it needs to go, either their Contract Administrator (CA), or direct to HUD. For more information, please contact sale@kansosoftware.com.
How does the AMERIND Insurance Partnership Work?
As part of this collaboration, Kanso includes required fields to streamline AMERIND’s annual insured building and unit review (www.amerind.com). These fields are imported from your most recent review data provided to AMERIND. The export that is required by their organization is built into Kanso, allowing for effortless data entry for insured buildings & units. This integration ensures that housing authorities can easily maintain compliance, reduce administrative workload, and protect their communities with greater accuracy and efficiency.
