Kanso Software Acquires ReFrame Solutions’ Housing Authority Business

DENVER, CO – [October 5, 2026] – Kanso Software, a Denver-based provider of modern tribal and public housing management software, today announced that it has acquired the housing authority software of ReFrame Solutions, a government technology company serving state and local agencies. The move brings ReFrame’s housing authority clients under Kanso’s umbrella and unites two of the only truly modern web applications built for the public housing market.

ReFrame, whose core work spans elections, disclosure, and other state and local government services, expanded into housing software after seeing a need in the public housing authority space, building out a web-based solution to support it. As with Kanso, ReFrame found that its modern approach set it apart in a market still dominated by aging, form-heavy legacy systems. Rather than continue to run housing as a business adjacent to its core focus, ReFrame set out to find the right long-term home for those clients.

ReFrame did not simply put its housing authority business up for sale.
